Eternal Salah

September has finally arrived! That means the weather will start cooling down a bit, yay! If you live somewhere with hot summers you probably feel the same way.

In these photos I'm wearing the Eternal Salah set from Striving For Modesty.
This is a 2 piece set and comes with both a khimar and a skirt. It is "One Size Fits All" and is available in a variety of colors (light pink, purple, red, teal, dark green, midnight blue, light brown, chocolate brown, black, and gray), all of which you can see HERE.

The colored sets are available for $30 each, and the gray set (which I'm wearing) is only $25.

It is made of an extremely lightweight material and it has a silky feel to it- it's soft to the touch. The skirt stretches tremendously, so that is what allows for One Size Fits All. It's perfect to wear for salah, and can be easily washed in the washing machine to ensure it's always clean. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the khimar fits around the head and neck. Sometimes I feel like they are too tight or uncomfortable around the neck, but this one fits great! It is snug enough so that it doesn't slip around, yet it doesn't feel like it's choking me.

This set is great for use while traveling because it doesn't take up much room in a suitcase (compact items are always a plus when traveling). I will definitely be taking it with me on my next trip.

Right now Striving For Modesty has a special promotion going on- when you spend $30 or more (excluding shipping) you will receive a free maxi scarf that is not available for purchase with your order! Go to www.strivingformodesty.com to find out more.
