DIY Microdermabrasion

This is so simple to make, since you only need 2 ingredients. It's a really quick way to make your own microdermabrasion scrub.

Combine 3 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. water. (To make more just use a 3 to 1 ratio).
Mix this until it becomes a paste.
Apply to your face in a circular motion (or use your Facial Cleansing Brush) for 1-2 minutes.
Rinse off when done and pat dry.
Apply moisturizer after.

This leaves the skin feeling clean and refreshed while giving your skin a nice glow!

DIY Lip Gloss

I have been using clear lipgloss for years now. Sometimes I feel that the colored glosses can become sticky, or they have a weird taste to them. Since they go on you lips anything with a weird taste is out of the question. I have recently started adding some powdered blush to some Vaseline and I have been very happy with the results. Let me know what you think!

 You will need:

1.Vaseline (a clear lipgloss would also work).
2. Powdered blush. If you don't have a powdered blush, then a pressed blush will work as well.
3. A shimmer powder (optional).
4. A small container with a lid (for storing). I used an old eyeshadow container.
5. A spoon and a small mixing bowl.

The end result is shown here, along with the items I used.

Take the Vaseline and scoop some out into a small mixing container (not the one you will store it in).
Add some of the powdered blush (Bare Minerals works well). If you do not have powdered blush you can take the back of a spoon and gently scrape a pressed blush and put the shavings into the mixing bowl. If you want to add some extra shine to the lipgloss you can add some shimmer powder. I used a loose shimmer powder eyeshadow. Mix until well blended. Once you have the desired color scoop into the small container.

Easy DIY Teeth Whitener

This is a simple and affordable way to whiten your teeth. I have heard of other DIY teeth whitening formulas, but this is the one I use. I just don't think rubbing strawberries on my teeth or a banana peel would work very well. Let me know if you have tried any others methods and received good results!

You will need:

1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Hydrogen Peroxide (skip this part if you have sensitive teeth)
1/2 tsp. Water (if needed)

Mix the ingredients until blended into a paste. If needed add the water to help make the mix slightly runny. Dip your toothbrush in the mixture and brush your teeth for 2-3 minutes. Rinse when finished, and use regular toothpaste if desired.

Do this once a week until you get the desired shade your looking for. Then perform only once every 1-2 months.

All Natural Face Scrub

This face scrub is so easy to make, you only need 3 ingredients, and it is all natural! It exfoliates and moisturizes the skin at the same time. Plus, the olive oil has tons of antioxidants that help with elasticity and provide radiant skin. This is similar to the oil cleansing method (where you use oil as a cleanser), except this is an exfoliator/cleanser combo.

What you need:
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1 Tsp. Olive Oil
Generous Squeeze of Honey

I multiplied the recipe and used 5 Tbsp. Brown Sugar and 5 Tsp. Olive Oil so I could have extra and keep it in a small jar for later.

Mix these ingredients together in a bowl.
Wash any dirt or makeup off of your face and then apply the scrub. Rub in circles as you apply. When done, rinse off with warm water.
